Christmas Island – Kiribati – CXI – Fly Fishing Paradise
Christmas Island offers unquestionably some of the finest bonefish angling in the world – in terms of numbers of fish and average size, the stability of climatic conditions year round.
Located right in the centre of the Pacific Ocean are 33 low-lying coral atolls collectively known as Kiribati (pronounced Kiribas).
Sub-divided into three groups known as Line, Gilbert and Phoenix Island, Christmas Island is one of these atolls and one of the most spectacular.
Located a four and a half hour flight from Fiji, Christmas Island is a Fishing Tour paradise teeming with life and amazing opportunities.

CHRISTMAS ISLAND LODGE – A SALTWATER ANGLER’S DREAM COME TRUE!
Christmas Island Lodge offers 4 bungalows constructed of coral stone and traditional thatch roofs.
Each bungalow provides two private suites with a refrigerator, air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with hot and cold water.
Hosting a maximum of 8 anglers ensures private accommodations and a relaxed small group atmosphere.

recounting fishing stories under our traditional open air maneaba (local gathering place) while waves crash on the beach only steps away.

MULTI-SPECIES FLATS FISHING ADVENTURES!
CHRISTMAS ISLAND LODGE – WORLD CLASS BONEFISHING!
Sightfishing to bonefish on Christmas Island is exceptional!
Endless flats make for endless opportunities!
Huge numbers of bonefish call the island home!
CHRISTMAS ISLAND OFFERS WORLD-CLASS MULTI-SPECIES ACTION!
Christmas (Kiritimati) Island has long been regarded as one of the premier bonefishing destinations in the world.
Located 1200 miles south of Honolulu and 120 miles north of the equator,
Christmas Island has an incredible year-round fishery unaffected by weather and seasons.
The diversity of fish species you can target include giant trevally, bluefin trevally, golden trevally, triggerfish, milkfish and endless species of reef fish.
Coupled with over 240 square miles of easily wadable flats in the lagoon,
endless ocean side coral reefs teaming with fish and incredible blue water opportunities,
Christmas Island’s diverse fishery ensures that each day will bring an exciting new angling opportunity.
CHRISTMAS ISLAND OFFERS THE WORLD’S MOST EXCITING SALTWATER FLATS FISHING!
Christmas Island Lodge’s private oceanside bungalows have been renovated and remodeled to provide our guests with the most comfortable lodgings on the island.
Additionally, the lodge is strategically located on a 20-acre beachside location that offers immediate access
to the surf and its angling opportunities as well as a short drive to the private back-of-the-lagoon access which only Christmas Island Lodge guests may enjoy.
This results in our guests arriving first each morning to the most remote corners of the inner lagoon and also allows us to be the last anglers fishing at the end of the day.
Also, due to the lodge’s location far from the hubbub of London or Paris on the western end of the island,
Christmas Island Lodge guests spend less time en route to the most desirable angling destinations on the island including the famed Korean Wreck.
With these advantages, the finest guide and lodge staff, excellent wifi connectivity and the small group atmosphere
which is derived from a maximum of 8 hosted anglers each week, there is no better option on Kiritimati!
